Position Summary The Packaging Technician is responsible for packaging and labelling manufactured products for sale.
Maintaining accuracy in weighing product, labelling product, and fulfillment of products while maintaining a sterile working station to deliver the best quality cannabis is a crucial part of this role.
The individual for this role enjoys consistency, working with a team to align with and accomplish daily packaging work orders.
This position is Full-Time Monday through Friday from 7:
30AM-4:
15PM.
Salary$17 - $20 USD per hourRequired SkillsEssential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Performs accurate filling of products ensuring compliance with company's SOPs and state regulations Fulfillment and completion of production records and reporting tools Under the direction of the Packaging Lead, fulfills the expected production levels while using safe and sanitary practices Print and apply labels to finished packaged products Department cleaning as required Other duties as assigned Desired SkillsMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Must be 21 years of age and pass a criminal background check Previous experience in a hands-on environment with high attention to detail preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Basic math and computer skills Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, and resourcefulness Attention to detail and ability to focus on one task for extended periods of time Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment Ability to work independently throughout a workday when given directives About RenewThere is no machine that can grow high quality cannabis, it takes a truly dedicated team of skilled people to grow great consistent product.
