About the Role The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing, assisting, and performing work in all aspects of accounting including financial statement preparation, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to able to function at a high level in an ambiguous environment and make critical judgments and assumptions while waiting for essential inputs and working with high integrity.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
oPrepare monthly financial statements and various detailed analyses.
oManage and perform monthly financial closings, including reconciliation of accounts.
oMaintain detailed fixed asset lists, including capital constructions in progress.
oPerform month-end reporting duties and prepare/present weekly financial performance.
oAssist with daily cash management reporting.
oAssist in Accounts payable & receivables management.
oAssist with the development of site-level forecasts and budgets.
oFacilitate customer relations with both external and internal customers.
oAssist with audits and lead internal control compliance.
oOther duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
oComplete special projects as assigned.
Who we're looking for:
oBS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management and a minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in a manufacturing accounting environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
oProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.
oFull understanding of complete accounting cycle in a manufacturing environment required.
oCPA/CMA Preferred oMust be able to work in a flexible, team environment, demonstrate critical decision-making skills and have strong interpersonal and communication abilities; strong work ethic, high energy, and excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
oAble to function at a high level in an ambiguous environment, making critical judgments and assumptions while waiting for essential inputs.
oAbility to demonstrate integrity and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

This position is on site at our automotive composites products manufacturing plant in Warren, Rhode Island.
